This panorama, photographed by James Blakeway, commemorates the Pittsburgh Penguins® victory over the San Jose Sharks® in Game 6 of the 2016 Stanley Cup® Final. The victory secured the team’s fourth championship and etched June 12, 2016, as one of the most celebrated dates in franchise history. The team’s third championship was won on the exact same date seven years ago, and as with prior championships in 1991, 1992 and 2009, this too was won on the road. June 12, 2016, was indeed A Great Day for Hockey®.
