This panorama, taken on October 10, 2017, captures the opening face-off of the inaugural game for the Vegas Golden Knights against Pacific Division rival Arizona Coyotes®. With the addition of its 31st franchise, the NHL® became the first of the four major North American professional sports leagues to place a team in Las Vegas. Interest and enthusiasm for a professional hockey team in "Sin City" is high and season tickets for 17,500 seat arena are sold out.
