Those who display outstanding sportsmanship deserve recognition. The Awards and Recognition Association (ARA) is the sponsor of the National Sportsmanship Award, which is presented to the Division 1 college football player who best exhibits sportsmanship both on and off the field. The 2005 award winner was University of Memphis Running Back DeAngelo Williams.
